Building and locking the roster

Signups, auto-build, Lock Signups, and Push to Roster.

Members submit a primary (and optional backup) task force and role preference through the event's signup link. Once enough signups are in, an officer moves the roster through three steps: build, lock, and push.

1. Build (or hand-place) the roster

Select "Build rosters" to auto-assign signups into starter/substitute slots based on your alliance's Auto Roster Builder settings (Alliance → Settings): guaranteeing R5/R4 a slot, excluding players who missed last week, boosting last week's substitutes and benched signups, and any named Always-Include players. Review the preview — it lists who's New, Promoted, Demoted, Moved, Removed, Excluded, or Unplaced — before selecting "Apply Changes". You can also edit individual roster slots by hand at any point.

2. Lock Signups

"Lock Signups" freezes new signups while you finish reviewing the roster. Locked signups can still be unlocked if you need to reopen them.

3. Push to Roster

"Push to Roster" finalizes the signup session — this is what actually closes signups for members and marks the event's roster as complete. Members who visit the signup link afterward see "the roster has been finalized."
